Step by step method to make rear sleeper of Hero Glamour bike

Today I will tell you how to make or repair the rear shock absorber of Hero Glamour bike step by step. This simple method will help you check, clean, and fit the rear suspension system easily at home.

Step 1: Remove the Seat and Side Cover

First, remove the seat and side panel of your Hero Glamour. This gives access to the top nut of the rear shock absorber.

Step 2: Loosen the Top Bolt

Use a proper wrench to loosen the top bolt. Make sure the bike is on the main stand for safety and stability.

Step 3: Remove the Lower Bolt

Now remove the lower bolt of the shock absorber carefully. Hold the shock with one hand to avoid sudden movement.

Step 4: Check the Shock Condition

Inspect the shock absorber for oil leakage, spring damage, or weak damping. If it is leaking or very loose, it needs repair or replacement.

Step 5: Clean and Refit

Clean the shock with a dry cloth. Refit it back in the same position by tightening the bottom bolt first and then the top bolt firmly.

Step 6: Test the Bike

After refitting, press the seat or bounce the bike to test the suspension movement. It should move smoothly without noise.
