When it comes to engine maintenance, fitting the head cylinder correctly is extremely important. If the fitting is not done as per the company standards, the bike may face problems like oil leakage, loss of compression or reduced performance. The timing chain tensioner keeps the chain tight. If it’s too loose, the chain may jump teeth, and if it’s too tight, it may wear out quickly. Fit and adjust the tensioner properly.

9. Add Fresh Engine Oil

Pour fresh engine oil of the recommended grade. Proper lubrication during the first start-up is essential to avoid friction and wear.

10. Start the Engine and Inspect

Once everything is assembled, start the engine. Allow it to idle for a few minutes and carefully observe. Check for unusual sounds, oil leakage, or vibrations. If all steps were followed correctly, the engine will run smoothly and powerfully.
